| dc.description.abstract | Political participation made by netizens in Indonesia is currently developing. One form of
political participation is the politics online, netizens to comment on political news presented by
the news portal. News portal that is used in this research is the most popular news portal in
Indonesia according to alexa.com website. News used in the study is the political news was
warmly discussed, then the news must be commented on by netizens. Comments that analyzed
the character of 100 more, this is done for the comments that were analyzed had a clear
meaning. Diverse comments given by netizens anyone providing advice, quips, comparing, and
support. This study analyzes the behavior of netizens in responding to the political news in
online media. The analysis was performed using the frame analysis, with using this analysis
netizen comments inserted in accordance with a predetermined frame. After analyzing several
findings obtained one of which is currently in the Indonesian netizens to comment dominant
actor quipped that of the political news and Indonesian netizens are also more mature in
providing comments primarily on the number of characters above comments 100. Given this
