dc.description.abstract | Indoor air pollution can be 2 to 10 times more dangerous than outdoor air
pollution. One of the causes of indoor air pollution is pollutants or particles. In
addition to pollutant particles, in terms of chemical parameters, namely carbon
monoxide, carbon dioxide (CO and CO2) gas in certain levels can be harmful to
health. Air that is absorbed in a room can be a place for the growth and
reproduction of microorganisms, at a certain quantity of germs in the air can cause
human respiratory infections. This study aims to determine indoor air quality in the
Prawirotaman Market Parking Basement and map the distribution of PM10, CO,
CO2 and Germ Count parameter concentrations with Surfer software. The method
used for sampling PM10 parameters is gravimetric, for CO and CO2 parameters
using direct reading, and for germ numbers using passive air sampling. The results
of the study showed that all concentrations of PM10, CO, CO2 and germ numbers in
the Prawirotaman Market Parking Basement did not exceed the quality standards
of PerMenKes RI number 2 of 2023. Concentration mapping using Surfer Software
is used to map the distribution of air pollutant concentrations with visualization
using color differences that are used as identification of location points with higher
levels of exposure to pollutants. Mapping of concentration results produces a
distribution map with red color means high concentration while yellow, green, blue
indicate lower concentration. The results of the mapping using surfer software
show that the highest parameters of PM10 and germ count are at point 2, effective
management is needed to prevent long-term increase in parameters by adding light
and modifying circulation by adding ventilation in the charcoal seller's room. While
the highest CO and CO2 parameter mapping is at point 3, from these results it is
VII
necessary to manage by adding exhaustfan in the motorcycle parking area and the
market entrance in the north side. | en_US |
