Perancangan Pusat Rehabilitasi Mental Dengan Pendekatan Salutogenesis di Nusa Tenggara Barat
Abstract
Mental health has become a global and
national concern for very a long time. Yet, the
issue regarding mental health is still a taboo
for some people. In Indonesia, the stigma
against people with mental health disorders
is still very strong. In fact, based on the data
from The National Institute of Health
Research and Development (Litbangkes),
there are at least 450,000 families in
Indonesia who suffer from schizophrenia
(long-term mental disorder). There are many
factors that cause people who suffer from
mental disorders choose to remain silent nor
seek professionals treatment. Among the
contributing factors, one that is still very
common in society is labeling, exclusion, and
stereotypes against people with mental
health disorders. The problem leads to a worse case,
where based on the data from
Riskesdas in 2018, Among people
aged >15, the data reveals there are
12 million people who experience
depression, and 19 million people who
suffer from mental emotional
disorders. Beside that, limited access
to mental health facilities in Indonesia
still become an issue. According to the
Indonesian Ministry of Health, there
are at least 90% of people with mental
health disorders do not have access to
adequate care.
