    Abstract
This study assesses the effectiveness of implementing the concept of inclusive development through the Green Infrastructure Initiatives Project, a collaborative effort between Indonesia and Germany. The research is centered on two main areas: waste management in Kediri Regency and the public transportation system in Surabaya City. Data was collected through direct interviews with key stakeholders, including Bappenas, GIZ, and the local governments of Kediri Regency and Surabaya City. The findings indicate that the green infrastructure initiative has been successfully implemented, in alignment with inclusive development principles and supported by technical assistance from GIZ. Additionally, the study reveals that effective communication has occurred between the central and local governments, as well as with the community, underscoring the importance of collaboration and cross-sectoral coordination for achieving inclusive development, particularly in the advancement of green infrastructure in Indonesia. These findings offer deep insights into the practices and challenges encountered in executing green infrastructure projects with a focus on inclusivity and provide recommendations for effective sustainable development strategies in the future.
