Isolasi dan Identifikasi Senyawa Kardanol dari Limbah Kulit Biji Jambu Mete (Anacardium occidentale L)
Abstract
Isolation and identification of cardanol from cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) has been done. Isolation of cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) in cashew nut shell
(Anacardium Occidentale L) using soxhlet extraction method with using nhexana.
Cardanol is polymerization and decarboxylation produced by cashew nut
shell. Cardanol from this research was analysed used GC-MS and FTIR. Based on
analysis using GC-MS and FTIR, showed result of this research is cardanol.
Result research showed the content of cardanol is 72,98% with GC-MS. The
analysis result with FTIR that shows this compound have the aromatic compound
C=C, alkyl, and OH.
