dc.description.abstractThe growth in the field of construction materials building continues to increase. Innovation needs to be done to support the progress of development and efforts to increase strength, especially on the concrete quality high as building structures. Innovation of the materials of concrete needs to be done to improve the strength of the concrete that is higher than the planned. One way to improve the strength of the concrete is to increase density on the concrete with a way to minimize pores or the formed in concrete. Therefore, it needed to organise the provision of material added additive and admixture to produce concrete with high. The added additive are glass waste powder used as a filler or filler that serves to fill the void in the cavity, while the added admixture is AM 78 used as a diluent the concrete mix due fas little value. The addition of powder waste glass as filler can be a solution as the added material that does not require an expensive cost. This research uses a variation of the addition AM 78 was 0.6%; 0.8%; 1%; 1.2% and 1.4% by weight of cement and variation reduction of water content was 5%; 10%; 15%; 20%; 25% and with no reduction of water content and the addition of glass waste powder remains at 3.75% by weight of cement. Compressive strength plan used is 50 MPa. Any variation consists of 3 samples and a comparison was made 3 samples of control concrete. Tests were carried out on the entire sample is testing strength compressive of concrete at the age of 28 days. The results of this research showed the optimum addition of AM 78 of 1.2% by weight of cement and water content reduction of 20% of the water needs of normal concrete with compressive strength is 66.525 MPa, an increase of 32.582% of control concrete.en_US
