dc.description.abstractIndonesia is one of the countries crossed by the ring of fire track world. There are four tectonic plates of the world in Indonesia, the Pacific plate, the Eurasian plate, the Indo-Australian plate and the Philippine plate which met in the Maluku islands. As a result of the many tectonic plates that are in Indonesia is the frequent occurrence of earthquakes both on the intensity of small, medium, or at a high intensity. The structure of the buildings are the most affected by the earthquake. The goal of this research is to determine the capacity curve of the building that designed and to determine the plastic hinge structure when exposed to earthquake loads. Structural analysis is performed on two buildings. The first building has a height of 4 levels with a height of 16 meters, the first building has a column with column dimensions uniform. The second building has a height of 4 levels with 16 meters high, the second building has a column with varied dimensions every second level. The analysis is based on the pushover analysis method transfer coefficient (FEMA 356). Analysis of the structure which is used for modeling using statistical software version 14 SAP2000 to be modeled in 3 dimensions. Regulations used for seismic load refers to the SNI 03-1726-2012, for the regulation of loading refers to the SNI 03-1727-1989, and for the calculation of the concrete structure refers to the SNI 03-2847-2002. Based on the survey results revealed that for the first have a target displacement of Vt = 539.351 tons and δt = 0.140 meters for the X direction and Vt = 549.088 tons and δt = 0,138 meters to the Y direction, and for the second building has a target displacement of Vt = 528.385 ton and δt = 0.143 m for the X direction and Vt = 533.533 tons and δt = 0.141 meters to the direction Y. Bilinear capacity curve of the graph is also seen that the graph in building 1 has a greater angle so that the stiffness of the building 1 is greater than the stiffness of the building 2. The plastic hinges occur first at both building on the beam, for building one occurred on the 4th floor beams and for the second building occurred on the 2nd floor beams and 3rd floor beams. at the first building building collapse occurred on the 1st floor column and the second building collapse occurred on the 3rd floor of the columnen_US
