dc.description.abstract | Work engagement is one of the keys to the success of organizational members, which has an
impact on motivation to do the job well, committed to help the organization to achieve its goals,
having a desire to be involved in the organization and having pride at work. This research is intended
to examine the relationship between authentic leadership and psychological capital and work
engagement of employees. This research involved 73 civil servants and non-

melibatkan 70 PNS di sebuah civil servants at a local government agency. It used three measurement
tools: work engagement scale (UWES-9), psychological capital (PCQ-24) and authentic leadership
(ALQ). The data analysis used was regression analysis and the results of the hypothesis test showed a
positive relationship between authentic leadership and psychological capital on the work engagement
