Jatropha multifida Linn is used by Indonesian folk medicine for healing a wound. The stem of Jatropha multifida L. contains active compound such as flavonoid. This study aims to know the dosage form of matrix patch from ethyl acetate extract Jatropha multifida L. stem and observe the physical, chemical, and microbiologic properties. The stem was extracted using soxhlet extractor with nhexane and ethyl acetate. Dosage form of matrix patch using the combination of HPMC and PVP as the polymer base. The test includes organoleptic, pH, thickness, weight variation, folding endurance, in-vitro permeation test using Franz diffusion cell, Total Plate Count (TPC) and Total Yeast/Fungus Count (TYC). The result obtained by comparing the test stability of the first week with the fourth week. The result of the research has shown that matrix patch has a clear patch, transparent, typical smell, little greasy and folding endurance more than 300. The pH obtained between 4,75-4,82 and thickness between 0,70-0,74 mm with weight variation. The average cumulative amount of routin released is 137,222 µg/cm2. The result of TPC and TYC of the matrix patch were no bacteria and fungus growth. The result has shown that matrix patch has stable.en_US
