    Abstract
    There are several cases of life-threatening asylum related to the elements of architectural space. The lack of capacity for Mental Hospital and Rehabilitation of Mental Disorders encourages mental patients not to receive good care. In building facilities for psychiatric patients, many negative actions occur from patients who self-harm themselves or others. Among them, many are utilizing elements of the room for violence or self-imposed. The location of the study is a project of Planning Development Planning Puskesmas Karangkembang Lamongan District. During the process in planning this Puskesmas require special research on puskesmas of inpatient care unit. The building for the inpatient of this psychiatric patient must be unique in terms of the type of building. In the planning need more research / study of psychological theories related to the design decisions made by architects.
