    Abstract
Unsignalized T-Intersection BALITTRA at Kebun Karet Street in Banjarbaru City had a long traffic queue. The queue length from observations was estimated to be around 15 meters. This research aimed to know about the performance (degree of saturation, queue length, and level of service) of Kebun Karet T-Intersection in the existing condition and finding the alternative solution. This research used MKJI 1997 method to analyze the existing condition and VISSIM modelling software to find the alternative solution. In the existing condition, degree of saturation of Kebun Karet T-Intersection was 1,06. The queue length based on observation for the west was 9,03 m, east was 10,77 and south was 17,3 m. T-Intersection delay time was 22,23 second with level of service C. Alternative solution offered was widening the major lane and adding signalized program to Kebun Karet T-Intersection with the cycle time adjustment to 91 second based on MKJI 1997 recommendation cycle time for 3 phase signalized intersection. After modelling the alternative solution, the degree of saturation on the west was 0,82, east 0,81 and south was 0,82. The queue length based on VISSIM modelling for the west was 60,27 m, east was 36,12 and south was 30,60 m. T-Intersection delay time was 26,19 second with level of service D based on delay T- intersection time.
