    Abstract
Road infrastructure is damaged especially in the surface layer or Wearin Course (WC). Factors that cause damage is the material used in th mixture. To improve the quality of asphalt can be done by adding additives This research uses LDPE plastic additives. The purpose of this research i to determine the value of workability, density, and impermeability Research using primary and secondary data, KAO determination obtaine from secondary data, and KPO data obtained from primary data. Then th research was carried out by making test objects with LDPE plastic conten of 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%, each as many as 3 pieces. From the variatio of these levels, Marshall Properties testing was carried out to obtain th Optimum Plastic Content (KPO) value, then tested Workability using marshall hammer, Density with the volume of the matrix, and the level o impermeability using a permeability test. The results of the study with th addition of LDPE plastic in the mixture obtained better results than th mixture without additives. The effect of additives on the workability valu obtained results tend to rise at 0% additive content obtained result 103.29% and at 6% content with a value of 111.65%. In testing density a meet the specifications > 2, the density value of LDPE waste is better tha the mixture without additives. In the impermeability test with th permeability method shows the results of the higher levels of plastic wast are also increasingly impermeable. Optimum plastic content obtained value of 5.52%.
