    Abstract
AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course) is a layer that often experiences structural and functional damage, one way to improve the structural and functional aspects of the mixture is the use of plastic waste additives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the comparison of LDPE and PET plastic waste additives in the AC-WC mixture in terms of: Marshall properties, stiffness modulus and impermeability. The first stage of research, namely the collection of primary and secondary data. After obtaining the appropriate proportions of asphalt and aggregate in the mixture, then make samples with varying levels of LDPE and PET plastic waste respectively 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% by weight of the optimum asphalt content. The samples were then subjected to Marshall properties testing, stiffness modulus testing, and impermeability testing. The results of research on the use of PET plastic waste in the aspect of Marshall properties are slightly better than the use of LDPE plastic waste. The optimum LDPE plastic waste content obtained was 5.25% and the optimum PET plastic waste content was obtained at 4.14%. The optimum mixed stiffness modulus value for the use of LDPE plastic waste was 1.25 x 109 N/m2, while for the optimum use of PET plastic waste it was 1.35 x 109 N/m2. The permeability coefficient indicating the impermeability of an AC-WC mixture for the use of LDPE plastic waste is 0.165914 cm/s, while for the use of PET plastic waste it is 0.156578 cm/s.
