dc.description.abstractBackground : Work burnout is a physical, emotional, and mental condition as impact of prolong work load condition. Health worker occupation and social workers as greater population, which are affected work burnout. Several risk factors associated burnoutincidency such as age, gender, length of work,education level and marital status. Objective : This research aim to identify risk factors associated work burnout among ward nurses in Soedirman General Hospital, Kebumen. Methods :A Cross sectional method has used in this research, sample size ammount 125 nurses in Soedirman General Hospital, Kebumen taken by accidental sampling technique. The independent variables are age, gender, marital status, education level, and length of work, therefore dependent variable was work burnout measured by Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The data collected using questionnaire, with logistic regression for multivariate analysis. Results : This research found, respondents ages >35 years old is more risky 2.634 times having work burnout (.029, aOR 2.634 and CI 95% 1.101-6.298). However, no correlation of gender, length of work, level of education and marital status againts work burnout among nurses in Soedirman General Hospital, Kebumen. Conclusion : Age > 35 years old influence work burnout among ward nurses in Soedirman General Hospital, Kebumen.
