| dc.description.abstract | Road network is infrastructure for peoples in activities where pavement is a main component in transportation. Pavement conditions affect security, comfort and safety of road users. However, layer of pavement will gradually be decreased level of service. Pavement maintenance and repair needs to be done in order to service road remain in good condition. The assessment of road surface condition is first step to determine the type of maintenance program that needs to be done. The method can be used in assessing the condition of the roads is a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and Bina Marga methods. Two methods are used to evaluate pavement performance and determine maintenance and repair efforts. This study discusses pavement condition evaluation and determining maintenance and improvment on the roads Mayor Kusmanto, Klaten. The road 2050 m along is divided into segments, each segment of unit length 50 m. The survey was conducted on the entire segment unit. The method used is a field of research with primary data in the form of road damage survey. PCI method rank pavement conditions from 0 to 100 while the order of priority road handling with Bina Marga method is based on the value range of 0 to more than 7. Based on the research results, condition of the roads Mayor Kusmanto, Klaten with PCI method produces a value of 57.95 (good) to the South - East and to the East - South amounted to 83.95 (very good). As for the Bina Marga method to the South - East get value order of priority (UP) 4 and to the East - South value of the order of priority (UP) 6. Roads Mayor Kusmanto, Klaten get into a periodic maintenance program. Efforts maintenance and repair of this section, is to repair the damage adjusted to the level, type, and the location of damage where the damage occurs. | en_US |
