dc.description.abstractAs a anticipation to meeting the needs of storage the end of radioactive waste (disposal) of research activities, medical, and industry needs to be prepared procurement national management service radioactive waste non nuclear power plant in Indonesia. Storage sustainable radioactive waste aimed at trammel waste and avoid radiation exposure to humans and the environment. There needs to be research on building storage radioactive waste safe from loadwork of the disposal, and secure against radiation exposure that could endanger man and environment. Building disposal type near surface disposal is one type of building enough disposal in accordance with the conditions of the tread in Indonesia. In this research, will be discussed building planning disposal with two design, namely disposal demo 1 by design based on the estimated the dimensions and disposal demo 2 by design secure against radiation exposure out the building and planning to be discussed pile foundation and the settlement. Both the design is planned to be located in the South Tangerang with the type of land was. The result of this research, building disposal demo 1 with thick wall 30 cm safe from loadwork of the disposal but radiation exposure out of the disposal demo 1 it was too great that unsafe of radioation exposure. Hence planned building disposal demo 2 with thick wall 60 cm safe from loadwork of the disposal and secure against radiation exposure out of the disposal demo. In planning foundation using pile foundation shaped square with wide side 60 cm and length 15 m obtained bearing capacity is 82,95 ton larger than the load that must be transferred to the ground by 58,91 ton. The settlement are small as much as 0,0061 m, so it secure of the settlement in what happened.en_US
