dc.description.abstractThe study aims to find the relationship between body image and social anxiety in female college students who using social media instagram. The hypothesis in this study is a negative relationship between body image and social anxiety in female college students who using social media instagram. The measuring instrument used in this study is the body image scale (Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scale) by Cash dan Pruzinsky (2002) and the social anxiety scale (Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users) by Yunus Alkis, Zafer Kadirhan, dan Mustafa Sat (2017). The result showed a negative relationship between body image and social anxiety in female college students who using social media instagram (r = -0.164; p = 0.005).en_US
