This study aims to determine the relationship between mental toughness and competitive anxiety in futsal athletes. The subjects in this study were 97 athletes aged 17 to 30 years. The mental toughness scale used in this study refers to the Mental Toughness in Sport Questionnaire-32 scale developed by harmison (2012). Meanwhile, the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2R by Martens (1990) was used as a competitive anxiety scale. Two hypotheses were proposed in this study, (a) there is a negative relationship between mental toughness and cognitive state anxiety dimension on futsal athletes, and (b) there is also a negative relationship between mental toughness and somatic state anxiety on futsal athletes. Description Statistics, klomogrov-Smirnov test, and Spearman correlation analysis were used for data calculations. Data were analyzed using SPSS 28.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative and non-significant relationship between the two variables.en_US
