After the earthquake disaster in 2018, the northern palu which was once a projected as dedicated green area turned into a projected next development of dwellings and housings. This is both good since the findings of safety land to use in Palu will increase the survive probability of the local people but also will significantly reducing the amount of green area from the earlier case. On the other hand, the thermal issues inside the city has been rarely fixed. In Addition, the fact that trees can limit the damages of earthquake can actually be an answer for Palu to face the threat and adapt to the situation. However, the dwellings project is not yet started means several dedicated area is still not designed. To avoid the future bad impacts, this project has been proposed by using the traditional market area as an objective. The concept is to show the crucial role of trees and forest in saving Palu city from uncomfortable thermal issue by using biophilic approach by considering the context of traditional local markets and its problems.en_US
