dc.description.abstractServicing customer is one of the important things that should be considered by business subject. Technology will become one of the tools to improve customer services. In conventional online apparel shop, there is some missing in providing the fitting room. Usually an apparel shop just provide online catalog and allow logged user to browse the catalog without any chance to try some shirts. This research focuses on the development of Virtual Fitting Room (VFR) for Cloud Computing (CC) based online apparel shop. In the developed VFR, a fast and efficient motion detection algorithm is developed as interactive point of the VFR with the user. Based on the conducted experiment, it shows that the developed VFR system is able to work like real fitting room and also able to be embedded inside a CC based online apparel shop system.
