    Abstract
The heavy metals determination of As, Cd, Zn and Co concentration of samples, i.e: water, sediment, biotic (eichlomia crassipes, rhizophora.sp., moolgarda delicatus and johnius (johnieops) bomeen) from many locations of Surabaya marine and river have been carried out. The samples as powder and concentrate water were irradiated for 12 hours using a Triga Mark type nuclear reactor. The neutron flux was 1,05x10¹¹ n.cm².sec¹ neutron flux. The radioactivity of the samples was measured using a Gamma Spectrometer equipped with a HPGe (High Pure Gemianium) detector and a Multi Channel Analyzer with 4096 channels. The relative technique was done in this experiment to determine of As, Cd, Zn and Co concentrations. SRM of bufallo river sediment of NIST asa primer standard was used to prove the accuracy of this technique. The result showed that the concentration of As, Cd in water river were higher than maximum permissible concentration in one-class ang four-class water of Surabaya City No.02/2004(Cd=0.01mg/L:Zn-0.05mg/L).The concentration of As,Cd and Zn in he marine were higher than maximum permissible concentration of Enviromental Minister No. 51/2004 (As= 0,012 mg/l ; Cd= 0,001 mg/l ; Zn= 0,05 mg/l), me concentration of those metal Co can not be evaluated, because regulation of related to the maximum of Enviromental Minister not available. The concentration of those metal in sediment and biotic (eichlomia crassipes and rhizophora.sp.) can not be evaluated, because regulation of related to die maximum permissible concentration of the heavy metals of Enviromental Minister not available. The concentration of As in fish were higher than maximum permissible concentration of General Director food and drug No. 03725/B/SK/VII/89 (1 ppm).
