Exploiting briquette of sawdust represent one of the solid the settlement of disposal form to lessen impact contamination of environment Besides to increase assess sawdust briquette calor enhanced with piece of coconut shell, searching optimal composition briquette and value economic study of charcoal briquette. Solid waste of sono keling wood powder and pirolisis piece of coconut shell toget charcoal. Then mixing of dough with glue as according to the following composition of briquette A 90% sonokeling wood powder and 10% piece of coconut shell , B 80% and 20%, C 70% and 30%, D 60% and 40% piece of coconut shell , E 50% and 50%. And then molding of charcoal dough and auxiliary by pressing 30 kg/cm². Then briquette dried with oven at temperature 60°C. The briquette will be bone dry if markedly constant weighing. Is here in after conducted examination of calor value charcoal briquette. The showing result of research that calor of value highest at briquette of E with composition 50% of sonokeling wood powder and 50% piece of coconut shell with average, calor value is 7054.270 kal/gram. The temperature of yielded embers is 1080°C with long of duration effective embers is 45 minute and average, yield dusty rate is 5.639 gram. The briquette priceis cheaper than the coal briquette.en_US
