    Abstract
    Environmental pollution problem represent the serious problem for human being and environmental. This matter is based by fact that not all resulted waste to he treatment and not all waste treatment compliance thestandard quality of environment. So that require to domestic waste treatment before dispose to environment or irrigate. In these research domestic waste is treated using Aerokarbonbiofilter reactor. The purpose of these research are to know the effectiveness of Aerokarbonbiofilter reactor and to evaluate its condition and to know the clogging time needed of Aerokarbonbiofilter reactor to removal the Total Suspended Solid (TSS) contamination. These research is using Aerokarbonbiofilter reactor which composed of 4 process; aeration, activated carbon , zeolit, ( adsorption),seeding micro-organism medium and sandfilter with kuarsas and medium (biosandfilter) . These research is using Aerokarbonbiofilter reactor start with using to soak media(seeding) during 30 days with use domestic waste water from septic tankin FTSP Islamic University of Indonesia Seeding medium used is Styrofoam and than the medium soaked with the waste water. Styrofoam medium selected because owning pores and manygapfor the growth of bacteria. This research is measurement Total Suspended Soli(TSS) concentration every 2 days until clogging in the filter medium on first day research got concentration in let at septic tank waste 373 mglitre and outlet concentration from aerocarbonbiofilter reactor amount 48 mg litre, so that TSS concentration can degradation on first day research equal to 87%, inlet or outlet concentration and the percentage increasing and decreasing until day to 21 and day to 24 until the last day that is day to 29, where efficiency of aerokarbonbiofilter reactor continuously degradation that is equal to 40%, 34%, 23%and efficiency on lastor day to 29 is equal to 19%. This matter is caused byfilter medium of aerocarbonbiofilter reactor have Clogging, so that in the end unable to removal waste again.
