    Abstract
Domestic wastewater treatment is required to enhance water quality, so that not bother a different life ecosystem in support of health and esthetic if it poured into water body. This research aim is to know the removal from concentration of BOD5, Total N, and TSS that is exist in domestic wastewater. Research used the batch reactor of constructed wetlands by free water surface system. The area, A = 0,25 m2, and depth of water, d = 0,10 m. Divisible reactor become 3 variation that is reactor with the concentration of 50 %, and 100 % of domestic wastewater and cultivated the paddy IR -64, and reactor with the concentration 100 % domestic wastewater without planted by paddy IR -64. Constructed wetlands are effective for domestic wastewater treatment system, with efficiency removal that we studied of BOD5 is 78,43 %, TSS is 90,91 % and TN is 55,55 %. Constructed wetlands system did not obstruct the growth of paddy rice IR-64, because the organic matter and other material that contains in domestic wastewater used by crop for growth.
