Pengaruh Terapi Pemaafan Terhadap Penerimaan Diri Perempuan Yang Mengalami Kekerasan Dalam Pacaran
Abstract
Violence in dating has an impact on the psychological of women who
experience it. If the victim does not get good handling or correct coping can cause
her condition to worsen. This study aims to look at the effect of forgiveness
therapy on the self-acceptance of women who experience dating violence. The
design of this study is a quasi-experimental with the type of the nonequivalent
control group design. The criteria of the research subjects were an undergraduate
student, had a low to moderate self-acceptance score, and had experienced dating
violence. There are ten subjects in this study divided into two groups, namely the
experimental group and the control group. Self-acceptance in subjects was
measured using USAQ made by Chamberlain. The quantitative results of the
study were analyzed using Anava Mixed Design. The result is that there is an
effect of forgiveness therapy on increasing the pretest to post test score in the
experimental group. In the control group, there were no differences in the score
results at three times measurements. Qualitative results were also shown in this
study using observation and interview techniques as additional information.
