dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to know the correlation between proactive coping and quality of life family caregiver diabetes mellitus type II patients. This research used two scales, that were (a) scale of quality of life (15 aitems) which created by Cohen (2007) dengan α= 0,869 and (b) proactive coping scale (50 items) by Greenglass (1999) with α= 0,937. The finding of this analysis which used a correlation technique of Spearman Rho showed that there was a positive relation between proactive coping and quality of life (r = 0,340, (p < 0,01)), is the higher score of proactive coping of family caregiver DM II patients, effected the family caregiver quality of life owned. In conclusion, the hypotheses of this research is accepted.en_US
