HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSONAL BELIEF IN A JUST WORLD DENGAN PERILAKU PROSOSIAL PADA RELAWAN KOMUNITAS SOSIAL
Abstract
The quantitative’s research aims to know the relationship prosocial behavior
dimension with personal belief in a just world on volunteer social community. The
subject of the research are 124 volunteer from the various social community
around Yogyakarta. Belief in a just world measurement tool using the personal
belief in a just world scale adapted from previous research by Nurendra,
Widiasmara, and Puspitasari (2016), developed by Dalbert (1999). Prosocial
behavior measurement tool using Prosocial Tendencies Measures (PTM) adapted
from Carlo and Randall (2002) with the dimension are altruistic, compliant,
emotional, public, anonymous, and dire prosocial behavior. The research result
points out, belief in a just world related with compliant with r=0,244 p=0,006,
emotional with r=0,177 p=0,050, and anonymous with r=0,344 p=0,000
(p<0,05). Meanwhile the belief in a just world not related with altruistic with
r=0,127 p=0,160, public with r=-0,033 p=0,719, and dire with r=0,157 p=0,082
(p>0,05).
