dc.description.abstractdemand for jewelry continue to rise. To support the market demand continues to grow we need a reliable supporting technologies. CNC machining technology is an alternative solution for the jewelry industry. The advantages of CNC machines that can work faster, more complex, better and repeatable lead to manufacturers using CNC machines to replace the conventional way. As the first university in Indonesia, UII not yet have a product that shows identity to be proud. Selected designs logo motif brooch with UII to do with the manufacture of silver material. UII motif brooch realized thus problems at the stage of making a brooch can be seen to be understood completion. Brooch design is realized using ArtCAM software JewelSmith, stone mounted using stone casting, and the casting process used silver material. In this study generated motif brooch UII can be made with some of the obstacles that occur in the process of machining and finishing constraints brooch with stones that are often separated. From this study it can be concluded that the motif brooch UII can be designed using software. Making UII motif brooch designed using ArtCAM software will be easier. Overall machining chisel is done in the same day because it resulted in the shifting of material. Mounting stone stone casting method is easier to do because when an error occurs easily corrected. 925 silver material is used because it is hard and not deformed.en_US
