Family support is given not only covers medical terms, but also the psychosocial aspects of the patient. They include the psychosocial aspects of illness acceptance and quality of life of patients. Data collection wasconductedby means ofin-depth interviewsand observation. The subjects ofthe studywere6people consistingoffamilymembersof3patients, and3patients withtype II DMinregionponorogoeastern Java. Results: foundisproviding support to thefamilytreatmentofpatientsgood DMemotionalsupport, appreciation, andinstrumentaland informational support.
