Penentuan Kandungan Besi, Kadmium dan Kalium dalam Daun Tembakau (Nicotiana tabacum L) dengan Metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA)
Abstract
There has been done a research about analyzing the Cd, Fe and K in the
tobacco leaves using the Spectrophotometer of Atomic Absorption (SSA).
The analysis of iron, cadmium and potassium are done through dry ashine
destruction from the sample of sort oftobacco {Nicotiana tabacum L) The sample
ofthe tobacco leaves is dissolved with HNO, 15,0 Nand HC104 30Ncontinued
with the evaporating and filtering processes. The solution of liquid had then the
residue from the filtration turned to dust in a temperature of 450°C with muffle
furnace, and dissolved with aquaregia. The solution of liquid becomes the main
solution to be analyzed with the standard adition method.
The analyzing result shows that the amount of Cd, Fe and K in the
tobacco leaves are 0,0456 ppm; 0,0461 ppm; and 0,0637 ppm respectively The
dry ashing destructions are able to divide the organic components found in the
sample of tobacco leaves. By analyzing the standard adition it shows that the
content of iron, cadmium, and potassium in the tobacco are still under the basic
standard quality oftobacco assessment.
