Hubungan antara Kompetensi Interpersonal dengan Kinerja pada Distributor Multilevel Marketing
Abstract
The aim of this research is to find relationship between interpersonal competence with
performance on Multi Level Marketing distributors. Research goal is to investigate the relationship
between variables. The hypothesis is interpersonal competence has positive correlation with
performance ondistributors Multi Level Marketing.
The subjects are Multi Level Marketing distributors located in Yogyakarta with
distributors characteristics of men and women aged 17-40 years, already has a downline, and
minimal high school education. The research data obtained by means of a scale measuring
performance from Snell and Kenneth (Timpe, 1999), which consists of 40 aitem and the
interpersonal competence scale refers to those aspects Buhrmester (Lukman, 2000) consisting of
50 aitem. Researcher used questionnaire which is based on Likert scale to collect the data of this
research. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistic with SPSS program 15th version.
The results showed that interpersonal competence has positive correlation and significant
with employee performance with correlation coefficient r = 0.519, p=0.000 (p<0.01). This
hypothesis can be accepted.
