| dc.description.abstract | Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of the Indonesian health problem which is caused by dengue virus that is brought by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitos. Many effort had done to prevent, one of them by cutting contangion chain with killing the mosquitos directly with or without chemical material or avoiting from the mosquitos bitter with using repellent. Repellent can be made from the herbal, for example atsiri tembelekan leaf oil (Lantana Camara L.). Atsiri tembelekan leaf oil contains humule substance, which usually be contained in atsiri oil. Be based on that problem, so there was done the experimental to know the rejecting power of repellent atsiri tembelekan leaf oil in Aedes aegypty. The aim was to know the rejecting power of repellent atsiri tembelekan leaf oil (Lantana Camara L.) with 100%, 50%, 25%, 12,5% concentration in Aedes aegypti mosquitos as a vector of a DHF. This experiment was done by experimental in the post test only group design.In this experiment atsiri tembelekan leaf oil is material trial test for use and for watch is mosquitos first time for alight. Statistic test with Anova test analisis and continued with Post Hoc Mann-Whitney to know which group that meaning full. The mean of rejecting Aedes aegypti mosquitos time with atsiri tembelekan leaf oil with 100% concentration is 323,61 seconds, the mean of rejecting Aedes aegypti mosquitos time with atsiri tembelekan leaf oil with 100% concentration is 46,27 seconds, the mean of rejecting Aedes aegypti mosquitos time with atsiri tembelekan leaf oil with 25% concentration is 30,32 seconds, the mean of rejecting Aedes aegypti mosquitos time with atsiri tembelekan leaf oil with 12,5% concentration is 10,34 seconds, The mean of rejecting Aedes aegypti mosquitos time with positif control (DEET) is 921,86 seconds, the mean of rejecting Aedes aegypti mosquitos time with negative is 6,25 seconds. The result from Anova analysis was got the two p values was 0,000, that was significant. It means that in case there was 2 groups that had the difference to prevent the mosquitos bitter. To know which group that had the difference was continued with Post Hoc Mann-Whitney analiysis was p = 0,000, so that between each group had the difference in preventing the mosquitos bitter. Except, with 50 % with 25 % concentration of atsiri tembelekan leaf oil, and negative control (without repellent) with 12,5 % concentration of atsiri tembelekan leaf oil. Repellent atsiri tembelekan leaf oil had the rejecting power in Aedes aegypti mosquitos. The rejecting power of repellent sere oil in Aedes aegypti mosquitos was lower than DEET. | en_US |
