Pelatihan Akhlak Kerja Qurani untuk Meningkatkan Work Engagement Karyawan
Abstract
The aim of the study is to increase work engagement among employees of private Pratama clinics, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The study was conducted on 24 employees who were divided into two groups, an experimental group of 12 people and a control group of 12 people. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with Two Group, Nonrandomized Matched Subjects, and Pre-Posttest Design. The design of the study used a control group as a comparison of the results of measurements in the experimental group after being treated in the form of training in Qur’anic work ethics. The selection of the two groups was not purely randomly chosen, but it used the matching method. This study was measured using the Ultrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17) (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2003; Schaufeli et al., 2006), amounting to 17 items. The Qur’anic work morals as independent variables were measured using a modified scale from Sa'adah (2018) totaling 69 items. Analysis to test the hypothesis in this study used Mann Whitney using SPSS 22 for windows. Analysis results using Mann Whitney showed that the work engagement scores between the experimental group and the control group after the training were significantly different (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed=0.000, sig<0.05). Thus, it can be indicated that there was a significant change in the work engagement of the experimental group compared to the control group without treatment. The hypothesis in this study was accepted, which was the training of Qur’anic morals can increase employee engagement.
