| dc.description.abstract | Religion is a doctrine or system that regulates the system of faith or belief and worship of Almighty
God. Islam is the last religion that Allah sent down to the Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah
Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam which is the closing of His prophets and messengers. Indonesia is the
4th most populous country in the world and the population of Muslims was 207 million or 87%.
The religious level in Indonesian society itself is very weak at 58%, while the non-religious figure
reaches 30%, convince atheist 0% and 12% answered that they do not know, indicating they do
not involve religion in their lives so they often fall into a state of depression where depression is a
mental disorder characterized by feelings of sadness, loss of interest or pleasure, decreased energy,
feelings of guilt or inferiority, problems with sleep or appetite and lack of concentration. This
research was conducted to propose a method to fix this problem. The author decides to develop a
mobile chatbot application that helps the Indonesian Muslim to prevent depression because of
deviate from the right path.
The author chooses a software development method used in the development of this application is
the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Methodology. The technologies used are Dialogflow
that the author can design the chatbot system that will integrate with the mobile application. The
author develops an Android mobile application using Java Programming Language and Android
Studio for the end-users. Then the author builds the back-end website using web technology such
as HTML, CSS, and Laravel Framework with Sublime Text to build the web application for the
admin to manage all data. The result shows that the Dialogflow services can be implemented to
the Android mobile application and giving a recommendation Qur’an Ayah to the users to recite
