Kajian Mekanisme Kerja Sistem Informasi Manajemen pada Pengelolaan Proyek Konstruksi
Abstract
Construction service industry needs an information system to support
process within a construction project, especially in the management of
construction process in order that project activities keep stay on the right track.
With sound information system, the emerging problems can be detected earlier, so
problem solving alternatives can be obtained. This research aimed at
understanding the more affecting factors to the management information system
between punctuality and its system delivery, and providing job mechanism of
management information system for construction project management.
Subject of this research were relevant parties in the management of
construction project, such as: owner, planner consultant, supervisor consultant, as
well as contractor, and also planning components of information system
requirements, implementation reporting pattern generally in the project
management. Data collection methods were by observation, direct interview, and
questioner fulfillment by involved parties within the project management.
Analysis method used in order to understand the more affecting factors to the
management information system were by using regression analysis calculation on
the basis of gamed questioner results, whereas in making proposal ofmanagement
information system based on general theory regarding job mechanism of the
existing management information system o based on observation and direct
interview outcomes in the field, in this regard the development projectof Training
Hotel of the State Vocational High School of 6 Yogyakarta, regarding job
mechanism of the existing management information system.
On the basis of regression analysis, we got SE2 = 25.385% higher than SEi
= 18.307%. This showed us that information display was more affecting than
punctuality to the management information system, and then it has been made a
proposal of job mechanism of management information system. Out of made
proposal results, we could draw conclusion that, the use of management
information system of a project, the most important one, existed in physical
implementation stage, that was, as information system processing data inputs and
other notes ofworking outcomes to be an information making the managers could
control jobs, made decision and action to keep the project activities run on the
right way.
