    Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between spouse support and work-family conflict (WFC). The proposed hypothesis is that there is a potential relationship between spouse support and WFC of working housewives. The subjects in this study were housewives who work as permanent employees at the Police Department of Special Region of Yogyakarta, with the total of 119 people. The WFC scale refers to the aspects of Greenhause & Beutell (1985) adapted by (Carlson, Kacmar, & Williams, 2000) with 18 items (α = 0.817) and spouse support refers to the aspects of Hause (1981) adapted by (Dorio, 2009) with 20 items (α = 0.841). This study uses the Rho Sparman correlation method to determine the relationship between spouse support and WFC. The results obtained are significant value r = 0.276 with p = 0.001 (p <0.01) this means that there is a positive relationship between spouse support and WFC in working housewives, then the hypothesis is accepted.
