    Abstract
    Waste is substance of remains from production process or a substance which cannot be used again as according to its function. Chrome Waste represent one of heavy metal which also the inclusive of into poisonous and dangerous substance waste faction (B3). Therefore needed a processing or treatment to waste is contain chrome waste with the rate or quality is above the regulation. And one of alternative which can be done is solidifikasi by using lime (CaC03) or slaked lime (Ca(OH)2 as can be Adsorbent. Which lime to be liquid waste which still contain the chrome will accumulate with formed a sediment which the sediment made upon which elementary substances for ceramic making by Bentonit,Feldspar and Kaolin upon which binder, if liquid waste still contain chrome let it without processed so can have impact to environmental cost because chrome with high quality can be dispersion to nature so that will destroy the human and environment. Awareness to environmental continuity push all researcher do various effort, among other things pregnant to waste treatment which contain of dangerous polutan so that reached by an condition of where the waste up to standard permitted and do not bother the health of human and animal. Therefore in consequence is hence done by research of about exploiting Ca(OH)2 which adsorbent and local mineral (bentonit.feldspar and kaolin) upon which binder As for title in this research : "WASTE CROMIUM SOLIDIFICATION OF LEATHER TANNING INDUSTRY USING CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY".
