dc.description.abstractThe compounding process is very influential on the quality of the concoction that will affect the therapeutic effect so that the compounding process must be in accordance with the correct standards and procedures. Therefore, this research was conducted to ensure the implementation of compounding was in accordance with the standards or not and to know the level of knowledge of pharmacy staff in implementing compounding in the health center. This research is an observational research with descriptive cross-sectional research design with three data collection, data obtained from observing the compounding process in the observation sheet which refers to Guilines for compounding practice consisting of 4 stages of Compounding, namely, preparation, implementation, final check & labeling and Clean up & documentation. Evaluation of compounding was carried out on 48 prescriptions conducted by 4 pharmacy staff, conducting interviews with pharmacy staff for confirmation regarding the implementation of compounding carried out on the observation sheet, and a knowledge questionnaire containing 20 statements related to compounding filled by pharmacy staff to determine the level of knowledge pharmacy about compounding. The data obtained is then processed by the process of checking data, the tabulation process, and the scoring process. This research was conducted in 4 health centers located in Kulon Progo district, the total number of puskesmas in Kulon Progo district was 21 units of puskesmas. The implementation of compounding in Kulon Progo district health center was very good with the percentage of Girimulyo I Public Health Center scores 90.9%, Wates Health Center 90.9%, Pengasih I Health Center 90.9%, and Nanggulan Public Health Center 86.36%. The level of knowledge of pharmaceutical workers is very good with an average score percentage of 90.9%. The implementation of compounding and the level of knowledge of pharmacy staff in the Kulon Progo district health center were very good.en_US
