    Abstract
Gold mining conducted in Kokap area, which was managed poorly, may result in the environment pollution risk from the contaminated gold mining waste that has to be borne by the people in the neighbourhood of the mining. Among many metal produced pollutants was Pb. This matter may cause the physiologic break down in human body systems. Body systems malfunction caused by chronic intoxication from the Pb was nerve, kidney, reproduction, endocrine and heart system. This research aimed at studying the phenomenon of electro kinetic remediation in Pb contaminated lands and knowing the efficiency ofthe Pb concentration reduction. One of the land conservations was using the electro kinetic remediation method. This electro kinetic remediation used in this research was electro kinetic remediation of 2-d hexagonal, where the cathode was placed in the middle and the anode placed in outer ofthe hexagonal. . The electro kinetic remediation method using 40 V and 0,2A with constant DC current. The container used was made from glasses with the dimension by 1m x 1m x 0,25 m and the land sample used was 312,5 kg. The electrode used was electrocarbon with 0.8 in diameter and 6 cm in long and the space between the electrodes was 15 cm. The remediation time by15 hours and in every 3 hours the sample preparation for the assessment of Pb concentration and resistance measurement and the observation ofland alteration in each area. The end result was there was changes in Pb heavy metal concentration win the land, which was reduction from the initial concentration by 1.0302 mg/L to lowest high by 0.1305 mg/L in area III in 15 hour, and the concentration in area II was 0.4558 mg/L in 15 hour, while in the area I at the 15 hour the concentration was 0.1387 mg/L. The resivity at 0 hour was 8000 Q, while following the remediation at 15 hour the resivity was increased to 11666.7Q, 11500Q and 16000Q, respectively in area I, area II and in area III.
