| dc.description.abstract | In the digital era, the use of technology is increasingly being applied in developed cities to facilitate the work that needs to be data and managed properly. One of the technologies used is a management information system. Management information system (SIM) is a planning system part of internal control of a business that includes the use of people, documents, technology, and procedures by management accounting to solve business problems such as the cost of products, services, or a business strategy. The role of the government information system is as a forum for meeting communities and the government as public servants. One of the authorities for the district / city government is the issuance of building permits (IMB) contained in law number 28 of 2008 concerning building and regulated in PP RI No. 36 of 2005. Based on these laws and government regulations, local governments are required to be able to provide building permits to owners of buildings. The information system is a way to assist the performance of the local government in issuing building permits. In the city of Pagar Alam there is no information system for building permits that will be useful for saving construction time and costs. For this reason, the authors attempt to design and prove the role of information systems on cost and construction time. After doing this research, it was proven that the information system for building construction permits could save time of 57.14% and the cost of 85.71%. | en_US |
