dc.description.abstractOne of the pharmacy work at the Primary Health Subcenter is compounding. Compounding is a pharmacy work that can be carried out by pharmacy staff consisting of pharmacists, pharmacists bachelor, and pharmacist assistants. Implementation of the pharmacy services should be carried out by pharmacists, but in Primary Health Subcenter that do not have pharmacists as responsible. Problems that often occur when doing compounding are the occurrence of variations in weight and powder content related to limitations in visual observation ability, so that it can cause sub-dose or over dose which will affect the effectiveness of the drug. This research was conducted to describe the implementation of the compounding aspect carried out by pharmacy technical staff at Primary Health Subcenter in the Yogyakarta city area. The main Primary Health Center in the Yogyakarta area there are 18 units, and the Primary Health Subcenter number 9 units. The researcher focused on 5 Primary Health Subcenter that each Primary Health Subcenter made the most compounding than the others. This research is a descriptive st udy with a cross-sectional approach, with sample criteria namely pharmaceutical technical personnel who are responsible for the implementation of compounding and have worked at least 6 months in the Primary Health Subcenter studied. Only 1 sample was taken at each Primary Health Subcenter. The results obtained in this study are the results of the compounding process in the Primary Health Subcenter in the city of Yogyakarta, obtaining an average percentage of 78.78%. The results obtained from the level of knowledge of pharmacy technical staff in the Primary Health Subcenter in the Yarea of ogyakarta city that obtained an average percentage of 97%. From the overall results obtained, it can be concluded that pharmaceutical technical personnel in the city of Yogyakarta do all aspects of compounding properly in accordance with USP chapter 795 which is used as a reference in this study.en_US
