dc.description.abstractWastewater domestic have two type, from toilet (blackwater) and derived from bathing, ablution, washing and kitchen. In domestic activities, grewater most produced. Assuming a haouse with 5 people can produce 855 l/day greywater. Characteristic greywater generally many contain a nitrogen, phosphate, potassium. So if greywater distributed offhand into water will cause to eutrophication of the water. Design planning waste water use filters with grained media can be used as a unit additional sewage treatment greywater. To achieve research, is aware of ability wastewater treatment from bathroom using RSF reactor, To tell effectiveness the difference thickness and media type of treatment by using filter. The method have variance medium 15 cm, 18 cm, and 21 cm and trying to parametrs turbidity. After running with 3 variance and than running with best performance thickness for parameters TSS, Turbidty, COD and BOD. The processing quality of water at mix media RSF parameter TSS and Turbidy best happened to 5 minutes until 15 minutes. Obtained value Consentration TSS on 15 minutes 48,32 mg / l . The best Turbidity reduction happened to 5 minutes 9,39 NTU .To COD and BOD have a good reduction on 35 minutes, obtained the COD on 35 minutes 143,25 mg / l . Obtained value BOD 35 minutes 104,18 mg / l. The conclude that thickness variation media 15 cm, 18 cm and 21 cm having the difference not significant for parameter Turbidity. The difference differences between media combined with sand and zeolite are significant. Rapid sand filter is not optimum to reduce COD and BOD on greywater.en_US
