dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this qualitative research is to find out the dynamics of commitment to husbands whose wives become female migrant workers (TKW) in the community in Indramayu Regency. The researcher wanted to know what factors influenced the respondents to maintain their marriage until now. The respondents in this study were two husbands who held dual roles in their daily lives, as husbands as well as wives. Both of the respondents have left their wives working as migrant workers twice for a period of 4-5 years. The design in this study used a case study approach. Therefore, researchers conducted in-depth interviews and observations to collect data. The method that is used for the data analysis in this study using coding to show an overview of the topics that are studied and analyzed thematically to produce a list of themes, models of themes or complex indicators. From the results of this study it is known that two respondents have commitments, principles in marriage, self-control, and have a future plan for long-term marriage. The factors that influence the marriage commitment of the two respondents consist of trust between partners, family support, tawakal, and interrelationships between partners.en_US
