dc.description.abstractThis research aims to find out the relationship between social support and anxiety in accounting study program of Indonesian Islamic University in the face of a comprehensive exam. The hypothesis proposed in this research will have a negative relationship between social supports with academic anxiety. To examine this research, the researcher used academic anxiety scale (Holmes 1991) and social supports (Sarafino and Smith 2011). Both scales were given to 200 active students of accounting study program at the Faculty of Economic in Islamic University of Indonesia with a range of 2014 to 2015 regardless of gender, age, and socioeconomic status. Result of the data showed correlation coefficients r = - 0.422 with significance p = 0,000. Based on result of the data analysis showed a negative relationship between peer social support with academic anxiety in accounting study program of Indonesian Islamic University facing a comprehensive exam in Yogyakarta.en_US
