Social Support, Gratitude, and Quality of Life of Patients with Chronic Disease in Yogyakarta, Indonesia Sulistyarini, R.R. Indahria; Andriansyah, Yuli The purpose of this research was to analyze factors that affect the quality of life for patients with chronic disease. The research focused on social support and gratitude, as primary factors that influence “quality of life” among patients. Social support and gratitude are hypothesized to have significant positive correlation with patients’ quality of life. The subjects of research were patients with type 1 diabetes, kidney failure, and hypertension who have been diagnosed for at least six months. The research was conducted on 152 subjects, 85 males and 67 females. The study used WHOOOL-BREF from WHO, gratitude scale (Brief Report Psychological Measures of Islamic Gratitude (PMIG)), based on Al-Jawziyyah’s gratitude theory and social support scale (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS)). Data were analyzed using regression, and the result showed correlation between social support and quality of life of chronic disease patients.

An Islamic Economic Perspective of Public Finance in Indonesia Based on Ad-Dawudi‘s Thought in Kitab Al-Amwal Atmaja, Fajar Fandi; Asmuni; Andriansyah, Yuli This paper analyzes Ad-Dāwudī's thought on public finance based on the source of income of a nation, its distribution, and basic ethical assumption underlying his thought. The paper also analyses the current relevance of Ad-Dāwudī's thought for Indonesia fiscal policy with a hope of potential application. This paper was based on qualitative research using literature review to analyze economic thought of Ad-Dāwudī in his Kitāb al-Amwāl. The results show that Ad-Dāwudī Devised sources of national income to recurring and non-recurring type. Furthermore, he emphasizes the role of zakah for social and economic purposes. For government spending, Ad-Dāwudī noted national defense, administrative of public duties and development as main types of spending. Ad-Dāwudī also noticed the importance of government duties to the people so that state budget should be spent in best ways to ensure welfare.

IMPLEMENTASI KONSEP ZAKAT DALAM AL-QUR' AN SEBAGAI UPAYA MENGENTASKAN KEMISKINAN DI INDONESIA Safitri, Junaidi This study aims to explain the concrete steps in an effort to convey their zakat potential in Indonesia is predominantly Muslim, in this case the charity is directed how to create the harmony between the rich and the poor through the analysis of the zakat institutions that exist, with the noble purpose, namely to reduce poverty , So the zakat teachings in the Koran, can be realized as a path that creates the harmony of human life, both physically and mentally. This study uses qualitative descriptive method by researching library materials (library research). The results of these empirically shows that the First, Zakat in the Qur 'an has a positive correlation to economic growth, due to its nature as a distribution of income that can improve the function of consumption and production are balanced. Second, the potential of zakat in Indonesia macro can be optimized through the governments role as regulator and supervisor in the management of zakat in Indonesia. And Third, the concept of zakat as described above have an opportunity as a source of state revenue that is allocated specifically for the alleviation of poverty, meaning that the source of state revenue derived from zakat should be given to the mustahiq both consumptive and productive
