This study has been conducted synthesis of TiO2-ZnO by sol gel method and test activities to phenol. Synthesis of TiO2-ZnO by sol gel method performed calcination at 400°C for 2 hours. Characterization of TiO2-ZnO done using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Dispersive X-ray Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM-EDX) and Surface Area Analyzer (SAA). Uji activity TiO2-ZnO to be done with a variety of phenols sonocatalytic method, photocatalyst and sonophotocatalytic. In the sonophotocatalytic method performed variations phenol concentration of 2 ppm, 4 ppm, 8 ppm and 10 ppm. Phenol degradation was analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). It was concluded from this study that the sonocatalytic method, photocatalytic and sonophotocatalytic wastewater successfully degrade phenol. However sonophotocatalytic method is a method that is more effective in degrading phenol wastewater with a 100% reduction in the concentration of phenol and COD of 47.661mgO2/L.
