Psychiatric is complex problem and be related with any aspect such as education, social and economic, culture, family life and degenerative factor. Prevalence of schizophrenia patient in Indonesia is 4,6% from total population and then 99% patient in psychiatric hospital are schizophrenics. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between level of education with schizophrenia at Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Psychiatric Hospital Klaten. Method: this study used a cross sectional method on 158 subjects consist of 116 schizophrenics and 42 subject non schizophrenic. This study taking secondary data in medical records at Dr.RM. Soedjarwadi Psychiatric Hospital. Data was analized by Chi square method. 
Result: Based on Chi Square analysis, there was significant correlation between level of education with schizophrenia at Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Psychiatric Hospital Klaten (p<0,001). 
Conclusion: Level of education has significant correlation with schizophrenia at Dr.RM. Soedjarwadi Psychiatric Hospital.
