This Thesis discuss how pattern recognition in view of the relationship volcanic activity and earthquakes. The main concept is to do with the exploration and extraction of data very much and continues to grow. In order to get a certain pattern or found a facts and information that are considered important and can be useful for many fields purposes. This paradigm became popular when the amount of data volume that accompanied the speed to get it (Velocity) of various types of measurements (Variety) is growing. The aim is to determine the general patterns of occurrence of volcanoes and earthquakes in Indonesia, and see whether they have a very close relationship.. The method used is to approach the incident visualization and the analysis algorithms coupled with SPADE. Analysis showed that the Indonesian volcano activity tends to look back after 4 years or more. Another outcome is well known that the pattern of earthquake occurrence and follows the path of volcanoes in Indonesia which are mostly shallow earthquake. Finally got that five years before the eruption of the volcano tends always begins 2 to 3 above 6 magnitude earthquake within a radius of 500km.
