Sub the plantations sector play an important role for West Kalimantan Province in growth region economic needs to be done so estate development.One way to develop sub the agricultural sector include by identifying of each commodity sub the plantations sector in each district in west kalimantan and classify its growth then will be based on the classification mapping growth.The method of analysis used is Location Quotient ( lq ) and Shift Share.This research using a case study index estate in West Kalimantan Province years 2011-2013 obtained from this office has West Kalimantan Province.Through calculation LQ analysis and Shift Share analysis then second analyses the combined into a decision of the sub classification commodities the plantations sector in West Kalimantan Province. Based on the results obtained that some commodities sub the plantations sector included in the quadrant I  (LQ > 1, S > 0), namely rubber, coconut in, coconut hybrid, cocoa, pepper, coffee, pecan, pinang, cane, sago, kapuk, the distance, aren, and oil deres.Commodities included in the quadrant II (LQ > 1, S < 0), namely coconut hybrid, palm oil, clove, the distance, and nutmeg.Commodities included in the quadrant III (LQ < 1, S > 0), namely rubber, coconut in, coconut hybrid, cocoa, pepper, coffee, pecan, pinang, cane, and are not.Then commodities included in the quadrant IV (LQ < 1, S < 0), the palm oil, clove, and sago.
