This study is titled “Perempuan Itu Pemimpin” (Studi Kasus Kepemimpinan Mujiyem di Lia Garment Boyolali). The purpose of this study was 1) To know how the process owners Lia Garment became a leader like now 2) To determine the leadership style of the owner Lia Garment 3) To know the problems / obstacles anything experienced by owners Lia Garment of doing business 4) To find out how lia garment owners solve problems / obstacles in doing business. This study is a qualitative research which approaching the biography. This resources are using data collection methods, interviews, observation, and documentation. The informant in this research is Mujiyem, the owner Lia Garment Boyolali. To know the validity of the data is used to test the credibility of the data or confidence in the data, and transferability test to indicate the degree of precision. The Methods test data are using triangulation. Methods of data analysis using data reduction, the data display, and conclusion drawing. This study found that Mujiyem lead this garment with business principles, namely because squeezing the existing situation, three factors that make Mujiyem be a leader, such as social, organizational factors and individual factors. Mujiyem leadership style is feminine-transformational, but transformational leadership style is more prominent within Mujiyem. In his leadership Mujiyem face obstacles directly or indirectly related. Barriers directly with businesses such as capital, delays in delivery of goods and delay in payment of salaries of employees. But as a leader Mujiyem know how resolving the problem by seeking additional capital, cutting the cost of production and effective communication.
